Why lanyards? It’s seems to be a necessary kind of workmanship nowadays.  Not only the increasing needs of high technology products, such as mobile phones and digital cameras, make lanyards be popular, but also the frequent communications between the company, organization, group of people or countries keep the needs of the lanyards unceasingly!  For daily use of holding your ID card, ticket pass, keys, mobile phone and USB or at every sport activity, event, conference or trade show, you see the item easily!

How many steps in the procedure for making a lanyard?  As an importer, distributor or retailed seller in the promotional filed, it’s quite helpful if you can know more about the technique of how it’s made!  And how you can introduce your customers to choose their own quite suitable OEM design?

PP (Polypropylene Mutli-Filament Yarn): Rough Surface, Suitable for Woven Strap, but Can Not Be with Detailed Logo

Blank Lanyards
Stitch nature white yarns into lanyards (According to different requests on stitching way and on different machines will make the result be different!)
    ♦ Dyeing:  Your requested Pantone color numbers is possible.  (We can make the yarns dyed first before  stitching also upon different requests!)
    ♦ Ironing:  To make the dyed material be neat and smooth for its surface!

Having Your Slogan, Company Name or Identified Logo or Brand On
    ♦ Silk-Screen Printing Technique
1.) Make Artwork and Films: Arrange the printing material in suitable printing sizes & positions.  A vector format is for exporting films to make printing tools.  Each printing color should have at least 1 printing tool.
2.) Make Printing Tools: Stretch the silk-screen tight and be framed with wooden or Aluminum.  Cover the silk-screen with a layer of sensitive paint.  Each film will be placed on the silk-screen tool and then exposed in the dark room. The exposed silk-screen will be with lots for printing inks to pass through!
3.) Printing Ink: We are able to print your own PMS colors, gold, silver, reflective ink, florescent or luminous colors. Foaming printing ink is also possible.
4.) Setting Lanyards on the Plates & Printing: We have 8 of 18 meters long and 4 of 15 meters long printing plates.  By using a simple rolling machine that we can fix 9 straps at the same time in good positions on each printing plate. To make the printing be positioned well, the printing tool has a screw, and the printing plate has some adjustable controllers along the whole 15 or 18 meters long plates. The screws must lean against to the adjusted controllers for every brush of the printing, so printings are well positioned!
  

    ♦ Heat-Transferred Printing Technique (Sublimation)
1.) Make Artwork and Films: Arrange the printing material in suitable printing sizes & positions.  We need to clarify how many printing tools needed from your artwork.
2.) Make Printing Tools & Heat-Transferred Printing Paper: Different designs and quantities, we may suggest different ways of making the printing tools.  For larger quantity, we will make engraving steel mold for producing the printing papers.  For small quantities, digital printing papers will be economical.
3.) Setting Lanyards & Printing: Combine the lanyards and printing paper, set both products under a certain hot temperature and a certain time, the ink will be suck into the lanyard material.  The lanyard material used will be white, and colors of the background and the logo are transferred from the ink of paper at the same time.

For logo or the background in solid colors, we suggest using silk-screen printing.  It takes shorter time for production, low cost and suitable for both small and larger orders!  For very detailed and small texts, we are able to solve it!

For logo like a picture, heat-transferred printing is a good choice.  It makes your lanyards be colorful and print what you want!  However, color differences might be existed for each time of production!  Large order with this printing technique makes the delivery time be quicker!

Woven Lanyards & Satin Woven Lanyards
Yarns are dyed in your requested color before weaving. The workers will count on the stitches and set the yarns on the woven machine.  When the woven density is higher, the logo will be come out more likely to the original logo.  However, it can not be like printing which can reach nearly 99% alike.  When colors of logo are 2 colors or more, we will make the strap into a hollow style. 
For Satin woven lanyards, the logo can be more detailed than general woven lanyards.  And it’s used usually as a label or is combined with other plain Polyester or Nylon Strap!  Low MOQ in 300 pcs only.

Assembling, Inspection & Packing
After the “having logo on” process, we will assemble and stitch attachments on.  We have many different accessories for your choices.  Inspection is a “must” of our quality control!  And then packing according to your request!
